Fully Managed ESG Reporting and Certification

EcoVadis, B Corp, GHG carbon reporting and annual sustainability reports. We handle the entire process for you, without the cost and risk of building an in-house ESG team.

ESG Is Now a Condition of Doing Business

Large organisations are demanding ESG credentials from their suppliers before awarding contracts. Banks and investors are scrutinising sustainability performance before lending. Government procurement — including NHS Evergreen — now makes supply chain ESG auditing mandatory. If your business operates in B2B markets, ESG is no longer optional.

The question is not whether to engage with ESG, but how to do it without it consuming your management team or requiring a costly specialist hire. EcoVadis certification alone takes months of evidence gathering and platform management. B Corp involves a full Business Impact Assessment and third-party audit. GHG carbon reporting requires Scopes 1, 2 and 3 data correctly calculated to GHG Protocol standards. Getting any of this wrong creates greenwashing liability.

Full GRI and CSRD Reporting

Complete GRI framework reporting and EU CSRD compliance, covering all phases from materiality assessment and benchmarking through to formal certification and annual publication.

Think of It Like Your Accountant or Solicitor

You would not hire a full-time in-house accountant to file one set of annual accounts. You would not employ a solicitor permanently to handle occasional legal matters. ESG works exactly the same way.

An in-house ESG Manager costs between £45,000 and £75,000 per year in salary alone, before employer National Insurance, pension, benefits and office overheads. They need continuous training across constantly changing frameworks, and they create a single point of failure if they leave. For most businesses, that cost is impossible to justify.

Outsourcing gives you access to a team of qualified sustainability consultants — including GRI specialists, certified carbon accountants and sustainability lawyers — at a fraction of the cost of a single hire. You pay for the service you need, when you need it.

No recruitment cost

No job adverts, no interviews, no notice periods. Specialist expertise available from day one, scaled to what you actually need.

No training burden

ESG frameworks — EcoVadis, B Corp, GRI, CSRD — update constantly. Our team stays current so yours does not have to.

No greenwashing risk

Incorrectly calculated carbon figures or unsupported sustainability claims carry regulatory and reputational risk. We take that liability off your desk.

What a Fully Managed ESG Service Actually Means

Managed means we do the work. We gather the data, manage the platform, draft the policies, prepare the documentation, liaise with auditors and deliver the reports. Your management team provides input at key decision points — typically a few hours per month — and we handle everything else.

Step 1

Discovery

We assess your current ESG position, identify which certifications or reports are required, and map the data you hold against what each framework needs.

Step 2

Gap Analysis and Action Plan

We identify what needs to change, what policies need creating or updating, and produce a prioritised improvement plan tailored to your target framework.

Step 3

Data Collection and Reporting

We guide you through data gathering, manage the platform, draft all required policies and documentation, and produce the final certified report or submission.

Step 4

Ongoing Management

Annual reports, certification renewals and continuous improvement are managed on a retained basis. ESG is a multi-year programme — we stay with you as your requirements grow.

Common Questions

What does a fully managed ESG service include?

It covers everything from initial assessment and gap analysis through to data collection, policy drafting, platform management, report production and certification submission. Your team provides information and approves key decisions. We handle the work.

Is this cheaper than hiring someone in-house?

For most businesses, yes — significantly so. An in-house ESG Manager costs £45,000 to £75,000 per year before on-costs, and needs continuous professional development to keep pace with changing frameworks. A managed service gives you the same capability at a fraction of that cost, with no recruitment risk.

How long does EcoVadis or B Corp certification take?

EcoVadis typically takes three to six months for an initial submission. B Corp is a longer process — usually nine to eighteen months from start to certification — but our managed approach keeps the work off your desk throughout. We have guided clients to first-time passes on both.

Do we need to reach a certification to get value from ESG reporting?

No. A GHG carbon report, an annual sustainability report or a supply chain audit all deliver commercial value independently — they signal credibility to customers, meet procurement requirements and support investor conversations. Certification is an additional layer of third-party verification on top of that foundation.

Is carbon reporting the same as an ESG report?

No. Carbon reporting — covering Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions — is one component of ESG. A full ESG report also covers Social factors (employment practices, community impact, health and safety) and Governance factors (board structure, ethics, transparency). We can arrange carbon-only reporting or the full ESG picture.

Which businesses need to report on ESG?

Reporting requirements vary by size and sector. Large companies (250+ employees or £36m+ turnover) face mandatory SECR carbon reporting. CSRD is extending this to more businesses across Europe. But regardless of legal obligation, an increasing number of businesses are being asked for ESG credentials by their customers, lenders and procurement portals — making voluntary reporting a commercial necessity.
